The clients for this project needed a business identity sign for their custom restoration service and auto body repair.  After meeting with them it was soon decided that their logo needed to give the impression they were professional auto body repairmen skilled in complete repair of new vehicles and also in the restoration of classic autos. The use of the '34 Ford Coupe as the graphic element in the logo was achieved by scanning a photograph of the car and then using computer drawing tools to recreate each area of the vehicle's exterior, it was then blended and shaded to show highlights and shadows by adding color. The rendering of the logo on the actual sign was done by hand with paints and brushes.
